The Avenida da Liberdade ends at the Praça de Republica, where one of the attractions is this modern art sculpture. Our hotel in Braga was the Hotel Turismo that was located down the Avenida, a 10-minute walk away from this square. We will remember it for its very comfortable and spacious rooms, and the wonderful buffet-breakfast they served us every morning.
