Having had such a full breakfast, we decided on a couple of soups for lunch. We found a small cafe that was open very close to our hotel. We were surprised and annoyed at what followed. The waiter refused to serve us soups, saying that it was a waste of his cutlery and table-setting efforts. I'd never heard of anything like this before, and were upset for a little while after that
