This is the Hotel Ribamar where we stayed for 3 nights. We couldn't ask for a more perfect location. Cross the street, and you're on the beach. The building adjacent to it is the Tourist office - you see the 'T" from the "Tourist" in the photograph! A couple of minutes away is the funicular (see mountain beyond) which takes you to Sitio, the town on the hill. Rounding the corner of the hotel building you are in the Praça Sousa Oliviera, which boasts of several restaurants and mouthwatering pastelarias.
