It took a steep walk up a couple of very steep hills to reach the Taylor-Fladgate wine house and cellar.
We were warmly received by the representatives there, and were almost immediately served a glass of tawny port. Having just got our breath back, we were alerted by some raucous bird-calls, and were richly rewarded when a gorgeous peacock entered the gardens!
