This is the guest house we stayed in - the 400-year old Solar Dom Carlos, the oldest guest house in Cascais. The owner was a very gracious and kind host, though he didn't particularly approve of the the frisky 6-week old puppy his daughters had recently adopted. This place had a beautiful breakfast room, with the original frescoes on its walls, and an in-house chapel that you will see later
