Travelling on the N-247, our journey took us through rolling hills, dotted with neat villages and broad farms. The villages have a pristine, well groomed look about them. Houses have stucco facades washed in white, pale pink or an ochre colour. This with a contrasting accent color for doors and window frames. Roofs are constructed with baked earth-coloured tiles.
