Our SEAT Toledo was a comfortable car, and we were quite happy with its performance. One bummer though, the trunk refused to lock. This kind of restricted our movement, since we could never leave the car out of sight when we transporting our luggage in its trunk. Though we'd heard stories about theft in Portugal, particularly in Lisbon, Cascais & Sintra, we never had any untoward incident happen to us. But when I returned the car in Oporto, a German couple at the Hertz office had just come in to report the theft of their rented car. I guess, it is nice to be able to trust, but its safer to be a bit wary of theft in the bigger cities.
