In this little restaurant in Ericiera, we ordered a
whole grilled sea-bass (robalho) and gambas frito - fried
prawns - sounds ordinary, doesn't it? But the prawns were as fresh as can
be, succulent and sweet. A drizzle of olive oil, some lemon juice, and the
natural flavors of the sea-food burst in our mouths. Accompanying were
fried potatoes, chickpeas, salad and a bottle of chilled vinho
branco. We ended the meal with a satisfying garoto. Cost of the
meal for two: under US$15. |
