After several stops, we got off at the Chiado.
Roadside café's, fashionable shops, coffee houses, churches, offices and
houses flanked the narrow streets. The area seemed to be full of
mall-goers and shoppers, and we were by now famished, and began our search
for a restaurant. We took the Blue Line metro back to the Rossio,
and had a snacky meal (cod-fish cakes, chicken cutlets, minced prawn
balls) and a Sagres beer at the Beira -Gaie Café. |
