After a mini-siesta, we wandered out to the Baixa area in the evening. This arrea lies between the Rio Tejo and the Rossio. Here's Rua Da Prata (behind the huge arch at the Praça de Commercio) with office-goers enjoying a beer or a bica (strong black coffee) in the shade. Most streets in this area are named according to a trade or industry. Eg; Rua da Prata - silver, Rua d'Ouro - god, Rua dos Sapeteiros - shoemakers.
