Oporto - the city that gave Portugal its name, and language. We arrived here after driving through a maze of crowded and 'under construction' streets. It was dusty and hot, and we were relieved to arrive at the Mercuré Batalha hotel in the Praça de Batalha, where we offloaded our luggage, and drove off to the Hertz office to return our car.
